Testimonials

Welcome to a new chapter on My Cup Overflows, where we celebrate the incredible testimonies of God's work in our lives. This space is dedicated to sharing personal stories that illuminate the miracles, grace, and transformative experiences that individuals have encountered through their faith. Each testimony is a testament to God's unwavering love and the profound impact it can have on our journeys.

In this collection, you will find narratives that inspire hope, encourage perseverance, and affirm the belief that God is actively present in our everyday lives. From moments of divine intervention to the quiet assurance of His presence during trials, these stories reflect the myriad ways in which God manifests His goodness.

We invite you to explore these powerful accounts and perhaps share your own testimony. Together, let’s create a community where we uplift one another and rejoice in the overflowing blessings that come from faith. May these stories remind us all that no matter our circumstances, God's love is always at work, shaping our lives in miraculous ways.

" Bless God and acknowledge him in the presence of all the living for the good things he has done for you. Bless and sing praise to his name. With fitting honor declare to all people the deeds of God. Do not be slow to acknowledge him. It is good to conceal the secret of a king, but to acknowledge and reveal the works of God, and with fitting honor to acknowledge him."

-Angel Raphael to Tobit and Tobias

In Book of Tobit 12:6,7

The loss of my dear mother had totally devastated me and I was engulfed with a deep sorrow. Unable to find solace from any source, I turned to the Bible, which I had not given much importance in my life. Flipping through the pages randomly, my eyes were fixed on these verses “Even to your old age I am He……I will carry and will save” (Is 46:4). My heart was choked with emotion and I experienced a great comfort with those loving Words of God. In the days that followed the same verse would inadvertently fall upon my eyes as though I had searched for it. Praise the Lord, my God!!

We would have been an estranged couple but God united us.

Praise the Lord

I am writing this testimony to glorify God’s name and also for young married couples.

I had struggles in my married life. My husband and I had been separated many times due to his addiction. We used to have a lot of fights and our family was in a mess.

Though I was only a graduate when I was married, due to the needs of the family, I finished my MCA and M.Phil after my three children were born. I could study only by the sheer grace of God. I had tried to be faithful to my God by giving tithes from my first salary though it was a meagre amount. I can testify that my salary was raised miraculously. I used to take catechism in my church, make sure that my own children attended catechism classes, told them bible stories, and kept the sabbath day holy. We expected a third child, but I was not ready to accept. Again, God intervened and we decided to keep the child who is now a blessed child. I had tried to be faithful to my God as much as possible though with my own human weaknesses, but he had been faithful to us manyfold.

My husband has changed a lot and I have also been molded a lot over these years. It’s 34 years since we were married and 2 of my children are married and my third child is doing her higher studies out of India. My husband and me are living alone in our house and we are at peace with each other unlike our earlier days, which were filled with fights and tension. He works as a counselor in a de-addiction center.

When I look back, I can say for sure that it is the Holy Spirit who brought us together this far, or else we would have been an estranged couple. I am also a Vachanosavam missionary and I distribute Vachanolsavam magazines in my parish as well as to hospitals close to my house.

Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Ps 119 : 90

(Vachanolsavam is a Catholic magazine published by the Vincentian Congregation in 6 languages in India, with a wide number of readers and subscribers.)
